Reiki is an energy system founded in Japan in the early 1900's by Dr Mikao Usui.  Reiki is translated as ‘Universal Life Force Energy’

‘Rei’ (pronounced Ray) = ‘Universal Life Force’

 

And ‘Ki’ (pronounced Key) = ‘Energy’.

During a Reiki Treatment, we are opening up to the awareness of this Universal Energy  - which runs in and through all living things and promotes self-healing across Physical, Mental and Emotional Levels whilst also connecting us to our Spiritual Path.  Truly Universal, Reiki can be practiced alongside every faith. 

I believe that where we focus our attention is where energy flows to – where awareness goes, energy flows.
